यथा प्रसन्नो वन्दनाद्देवद्देव स्तथा न तुष्टः पूजनात्कर्मतश्च / यथा नामस्मरणाद्वन्दनाद्वा पापान्नियच्छेतु तथा न चान्यैः
yathā prasanno vandanāddevaddeva stathā na tuṣṭaḥ pūjanātkarmataśca / yathā nāmasmaraṇādvandanādvā pāpānniyacchetu tathā na cānyaiḥ
જેમ દેવોના દેવ પ્રભુ વંદનાથી પ્રસન્ન થાય છે, તેમ માત્ર કર્મકાંડની પૂજા અને બાહ્ય ક્રિયાઓથી તે અનિવાર્ય રીતે તૃપ્ત થતો નથી. અને જેમ નામસ્મરણ અથવા વંદનાથી પાપો રોકાય છે, તેમ અન્ય ઉપાયોથી એ રીતે સિદ્ધ થતું નથી.
