tasyāṁ gatāyāṁ sva-gṛhaṁ yayātir mṛgayāṁ caran prāpto yadṛcchayā kūpe jalārthī tāṁ dadarśa ha

Translation

દેવયાનીને કૂવામાં ફેંકીને શર્મિષ્ઠા પોતાના ઘરે ગઈ. એ તરફ રાજા યયાતિ શિકારવિહાર કરતાં પાણી માટે અચાનક એ કૂવા પાસે આવ્યા અને ત્યાં દેવયાનીને જોઈ લીધી.
