श्रीराजोवाच कथमेवं गुणो देश: केन वा भगवन् कृत: । प्रश्नमेनं समाचक्ष्व परं कौतूहलं हि न: ॥ २८ ॥
śrī-rājovāca katham evaṁ guṇo deśaḥ kena vā bhagavan kṛtaḥ praśnam enaṁ samācakṣva paraṁ kautūhalaṁ hi naḥ
મહારાજ પરીક્ષિત બોલ્યા—હે પરમ શક્તિશાળી બ્રાહ્મણ! આ સ્થાન એવું ગુણસમ્પન્ન અને પ્રભાવશાળી કેમ બન્યું? તેને એટલું શક્તિમાન કોણે બનાવ્યું? કૃપા કરીને આ પ્રશ્નનો ઉત્તર આપો; મને સાંભળવાની ભારે ઉત્કંઠા છે.
