ननु स्वार्थविमूढानां प्रमत्तानां गृहेहया । अहो न: स्मारयामास गोपवाक्यै: सतां गति: ॥ ४५ ॥

nanu svārtha-vimūḍhānāṁ pramattānāṁ gṛhehayā aho naḥ smārayām āsa gopa-vākyaiḥ satāṁ gatiḥ

Translation

ખરેખર, ગૃહકાર્યના મોહમાં અમે સ્વાર્થથી વિમૂઢ અને પ્રમત્ત બની જીવનના પરમ લક્ષ્યથી સંપૂર્ણ ભટકી ગયા હતા. પરંતુ જુઓ, આ સરળ ગોપબાળકોના વચનો દ્વારા પ્રભુએ અમને સજ્જનોની પરમ ગતિ સ્મરાવી।
