Sukta 80
इन्द्र ज्येष्ठं न आ भरं ओजिष्ठं पपुरि श्रवः । येनेमे चित्र वज्रहस्त रोदसी ओभे सुशिप्र प्राः
índra jyéṣṭhaṃ na ā́ bharaṃ ójiṣṭhaṃ pápuri śrávaḥ | yéna ime citra vajrahasta ródasī úbhe suśipra prā́ḥ ||
Indra, bring hither for us the chiefest, the most puissant, the abundant glory—wherewith, O wondrous Bolt-in-hand, O fair-lipped, thou didst fill forth both Heaven and Earth.
હે ઇન્દ્ર, અમારા માટે અહીં સર્વોચ્ચ—અતિ બળવાન—અને પ્રચુર યશ (શ્રવઃ) લાવી આપ. હે ચિત્ર, વજ્રહસ્ત, હે સુશિપ્ર (સુંદર હોઠવાળા), જેના દ્વારા તું આ બંને—દ્યાવા અને પૃથ્વી—ને ભરપૂર રીતે વ્યાપી દીધાં.
