Sukta 93
सुदेवो असि वरुण यस्य ते सप्त सिन्धवः । अनुक्षरन्ति काकुदं सूर्यं सुषिरामिव
sudévo asi varuṇa yásya te saptá síndhavaḥ | anukṣáranti kākúdaṃ sū́ryaṃ suṣirā́m iva
A gracious God art thou, O Varuṇa, whose seven rivers flow in ordered course; they follow on the ridge, the Sun, as waters well-channelled.
હે વરુણ, તું સુદેવ (કૃપાળુ દેવ) છે; જેના તારા સાત સિંધુઓ નિયમિત પ્રવાહમાં વહે છે. તેઓ કાકુદ (રીઢ/ઉચ્ચ કાંઠા) પર સૂર્યને અનુસરે છે—જેમ સુશિરા (સુવ્યવસ્થિત નાળાવાળી) જળધારાઓ.
