त्रिष्ट्वा देवा अजनयन् निष्ठितं भूम्यामधि । तमु त्वाङ्गिरा इति ब्राह्मणाः पूर्व्या विदुः

IAST Transliteration

tríṣ ṭvā devā́ ajanayan níṣṭhitaṃ bhū́myām ádhi | tám u tvā́ṅgirā́ íti brāhmaṇā́ḥ pū́rvyā viduḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thrice did the Gods beget thee, set firm upon the earth. The ancient Brahmans, verily, have known thee as ‘Angiras’.

Translation

દેવોએ તને ત્રિવાર ઉત્પન્ન કર્યો, ધરતી પર દૃઢ રીતે સ્થાપિત કર્યો. પ્રાચીન બ્રાહ્મણોએ તને ખરેખર ‘અઙ્ગિરસ’ (Aṅgiras) તરીકે જાણ્યો છે.
