अवायन्तां पक्षिणो ये वयांस्यन्तरिक्षे दिवि ये चरन्ति । श्वापदो मक्षिकाः सं रभन्तामामादो गृध्राः कुणपे रदन्ताम्
avā́yantāṃ pakṣíṇo yé vayā́ṃsy antárikṣe diví yé cáranti | śvā́pado mákṣikāḥ sáṃ rabhantām āmā́do gṛ́dhrāḥ kúṇape radantām ||
Let the birds descend—those fliers that roam in mid-air, those that move in the sky. Let the wild dog-footed beasts and the flies seize it wholly; let the raw-devouring vultures gnaw upon the carrion.
અવાયંતાં પક્ષિણઃ—જે વાયાંસિ (ઉડનારાં) અંતરિક્ષમાં ભટકે છે, જે દ્યૌ (આકાશ)માં વિચરે છે. શ્વાપદ (કૂતરાપગવાળા જંગલી પશુઓ) અને મક્ષિકાઓ તેને સંપૂર્ણ રીતે ઝપટે; આમાદ (કાચું માંસ ભક્ષનાર) ગૃધ્રો કુણપે (શવ/મૃતદેહ) પર દાંત ગાડીને ચાવી ખાય.
