नमस्ते राजन् वरुणास्तु मन्यवे विश्वं ह्युऽग्र निचिकेषि द्रुग्धम् । सहस्रमन्यान् प्र सुवामि साकं शतं जीवाति शरदस्तवायम्
námas te rājan váruṇāstu mányave víśvaṃ hí ugrá nicikéṣi drugdhám | sahásram anyā́n prá suvāmi sā́kaṃ śatáṃ jī́vā́ti śarádas tavā́yám ||
Homage to thee, O King Varuṇa: be (this) for thy Wrath. For thou, O fierce one, hast indeed taken note of every treachery. A thousand others, together, I send forth (in its stead): may this man, by thy leave, live a hundred autumns.
હે રાજન વરુણ, તને નમસ્કાર; આ (અર્પણ) તારા મન્યુ (ક્રોધ) માટે થાઓ. હે ઉગ્ર, તું ખરેખર સર્વ દ્રુગ્ધ (દ્રોહ/કપટ)ને નોંધે છે. તેના બદલે હું હજાર અન્ય (અપાય/દોષ)ને એકસાથે મોકલું છું; તારી અનુમતિથી આ પુરુષ સો શરદો (વર્ષો) જીવે.
