विशेषतश्च संघानां संघधर्मिणां च राजकुलानां द्यूतनिमित्तो भेदस्तन्निमित्तो विनाश इत्यसत्प्रग्रहः पापिष्ठतमो व्यसनानां तन्त्रदौर्बल्यादिति ॥ कZ_०८.३.६४ ॥

Transliteration

viśeṣataś ca saṃghānāṃ saṃghadharmiṇāṃ ca rājakulānāṃ dyūtanimitto bhedas tannimitto vināśa ity asatpragrahaḥ pāpiṣṭhatamo vyasanānāṃ tantradaurbalyād iti

Translation

વિશેષ કરીને સંઘો/ગણરાજ્યો અને રાજકુળોમાં જુગારના કારણે ફૂટ પડે છે અને એ ફૂટથી વિનાશ થાય છે. તેથી અયોગ્યનું અનુસરણ/આસક્તિ (અસત્-પ્રગ્રહ) વ્યસનોમાં સૌથી વધુ પાપપૂર્ણ છે, કારણ કે તે શાસનતંત્રને દુર્બળ બનાવે છે.
