शुश्रूषा श्रवणग्रहणधारणविज्ञानोहापोहतत्त्वाभिनिविष्टबुद्धिं विद्या विनयति नेतरम् ॥ कZ_०१.५.०५ ॥
Transliteration
śuśrūṣā śravaṇa-grahaṇa-dhāraṇa-vijñāna-uhāpoha-tattvābhiniviṣṭa-buddhiṃ vidyā vinayati netaram
Translation
વિદ્યા તે જ બુદ્ધિને વિનયિત કરે છે જેમાં સેવાભાવયુક્ત સતર્કતા (શુશ્રૂષા), શ્રવણ, ગ્રહણ, ધારણ, વિજ્ઞાન, તર્ક (ઊહા-અપોહ) અને તત્ત્વમાં દૃઢ નિષ્ઠા હોય; અન્યને નહીં.
