Transliteration

ity uktā devadevena sarva eva tataḥ surāḥ saṃdhānam asuraiḥ kṛtvā yatnavanto 'mṛte 'bhavan

Translation

Ainsi exhortés par le Dieu des dieux, tous les Deva conclurent alors un pacte avec les Asura ; et, désireux d’obtenir l’amṛta, ils se mirent à l’œuvre avec une résolution ardente.
