ॐ तिस्रः पुरास्त्रिपथा विश्वचर्षणा अत्राकथा अक्षराः सन्निविष्टाः । अधिष्ठायैना अजरा पुराणी महत्तरा महिमा देवतानाम् ॥१॥

IAST Transliteration

oṃ tisraḥ purās tripathā viśvacarṣaṇā atrākathā akṣarāḥ sanniviṣṭāḥ | adhiṣṭhāyainā ajarā purāṇī mahattarā mahimā devatānām ||1||

Translation

Om. Trois sont les citadelles, triple est la voie qui soutient tous les peuples ; ici sont établies les réalités indicibles et impérissables. Les présidant, la puissance sans vieillesse, antique, est la gloire plus haute des divinités.

Academic Translation

Om. Three are the citadels (purās), threefold are the paths, sustaining all peoples; here, the unutterable imperishables are set in place. Presiding over these, the ageless, ancient (power) is the greater glory of the deities.
