Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 39

ब्रह्मनाड्या प्राणवायुं मूर्द्धन्यारोप्ययोगतः । प्राणान्निर्गमयामास ब्रह्मरंध्रेण तत्र सः

brahmanāḍyā prāṇavāyuṃ mūrddhanyāropyayogataḥ | prāṇānnirgamayāmāsa brahmaraṃdhreṇa tatra saḥ

Là, par la discipline du yoga, il éleva le souffle vital par la brahma-nāḍī jusqu’au sommet de la tête, et fit sortir les prāṇas par le brahma-randhra.
