Brahmā–Viṣṇu-Pūjā: Upacāra-Vistāra and Īśvara’s Prasāda
Offerings in Shiva Worship and the Lord’s Grace
Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Cosmic Event: Divine intervention to dispel ajñāna: Śiva manifests within a conflict-field to restore right order (dharma) and right knowledge.
The verse highlights ajñāna (spiritual ignorance) as the root of disorder, and shows Shiva as Pati—the supreme Lord—who arises to remove delusion and re-establish right understanding that leads toward liberation.
It presents Saguna Shiva as actively compassionate and corrective: the devotee worships the Linga as the accessible form of the transcendent Lord who dispels confusion and restores dharma and right vision.
The practical takeaway is to counter ajñāna through Shiva-upāsanā—steady japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and contemplative remembrance of Shiva as the remover of delusion.
