Śiva–Arjuna Yuddha and the Subjugation of Pride (Śiva-parīkṣā)
शिव उवाच । हे पार्थ पाण्डवश्रेष्ठ प्रसन्नोस्मि वरं वृणु । प्रहारैस्ताडनैस्तेऽद्य पूजनम्मानितम्मया
śiva uvāca | he pārtha pāṇḍavaśreṣṭha prasannosmi varaṃ vṛṇu | prahāraistāḍanaiste'dya pūjanammānitammayā
Śiva dit : «Ô Pārtha, le meilleur des Pāṇḍavas, Je suis satisfait. Choisis une grâce. Aujourd’hui, par tes coups et tes assauts, ton culte a été reçu et honoré par Moi».
