Hymn to Devī Yogānidrā and the Manifestation of Caṇḍikā
Sati (addressing the supreme Shiva-Śakti reality as the sustaining Vidyā/Śakti)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: teaching
Cosmic Event: kāla-tattva as world-support (jagat-dhāraṇa)
It identifies the supreme principle as Vidyā (liberating wisdom) that is both transcendent (immutable, unmanifest) and immanent (infinite forms), sustaining the cosmos through Kāla-śakti while guiding the soul toward dispassion and purity.
By affirming “infinite forms,” it supports Saguna devotion—such as Linga worship—while also pointing to the Linga’s deeper meaning as the sign of the unmanifest, immutable reality beyond form.
Cultivate virāga (detachment) and śuddhi (inner purity) through japa of the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” steady meditation on the changeless kūṭastha within, and time-conscious discipline (kāla-smaraṇa) that turns life toward liberation.
