Transliteration

dṛṣṭvā svatanayaṃ devī śivā harṣasamanvitā | gṛhītvā bālakaṃ dorbhyāṃ pramudā pariṣasvaje

Translation

Voyant son propre fils, la Déesse Śivā (Pārvatī) fut comblée de joie. Elle prit l’enfant dans ses deux bras et, ravie, l’étreignit tendrement et de près.
