Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva’s ritual teaching as preserved in the Kailasa Samhita)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
Role: teaching
It teaches that the aspirant should sanctify the body through Pañcabrahma-nyāsa, recognizing the body as a fit abode for Pati (Śiva) and aligning one’s inner faculties with Śiva’s fivefold divine manifestation.
Nyāsa prepares the worshipper for Saguna Śiva-upāsanā by installing Śiva’s aspects in one’s own body before approaching the Liṅga, so the external worship is supported by internal consecration and disciplined awareness.
Pañcabrahma-nyāsa: while reciting the relevant Pañcabrahma mantras, touch and consecrate the head, face, heart, guhya-sthāna, and feet—establishing mantra-consciousness throughout the body as part of Shaiva pūjā and japa.
