न्यासवर्णनम् (Nyāsa-varṇanam) — Description of Nyāsa in the Saṃnyāsa Procedure
अग्निरित्यादिभिर्मंत्रैर्भस्म संधारयेत्ततः । शिरसि श्रीगुरुं नत्वा मण्डलं रचयेत्पुनः
agnirityādibhirmaṃtrairbhasma saṃdhārayettataḥ | śirasi śrīguruṃ natvā maṇḍalaṃ racayetpunaḥ
Ensuite, en récitant les mantras commençant par « Agni », on doit appliquer et conserver la bhasma, la cendre sacrée. Après s’être incliné de la tête devant le Guru vénérable, on doit de nouveau tracer le maṇḍala rituel (diagramme sacré) pour le culte.
