विप्रर्षे वाक्करौ पादौ पायूपस्थौ च तत्क्रियाः । वचनादानगमनविसर्ग्गानन्दसंज्ञिताः
viprarṣe vākkarau pādau pāyūpasthau ca tatkriyāḥ | vacanādānagamanavisarggānandasaṃjñitāḥ
Ô sage brahmane, la parole, les mains, les pieds, l’anus et l’organe générateur —ainsi que leurs fonctions respectives— sont connus comme : parler, saisir (donner et prendre), aller, excréter et jouir (félicité sexuelle).

It classifies the organs of action and their functions, pointing to how the bound soul (paśu) becomes entangled through activity; mastery of these functions supports purification and liberation by Shiva’s grace (Pati).
In Saguna Shiva worship, discipline of speech, conduct, and bodily impulses is part of śuddhi (purification) that makes japa, pūjā, and Linga-upāsanā steady and effective, aligning the devotee’s actions with Shiva-dharma.
Practically, restrain speech and sensual drives while doing japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and maintain purity of action; this supports yogic control of the karmendriyas during worship.
