Invocation (āhvāna) d’Indra : qu’il accoure vite au pressurage du soma et à la louange des Kaṇva, venant avec ses coursiers fauves et son char. Le son rituel — grāvā (pierre de pressage) et ghoṣa (grondement/champ sonore du pressurage et du chant) — fait office d’appel. Lorsque le sacrifice est accompli selon la règle (śāsataḥ), Indra accepte l’offrande, fortifie le rite et accorde au célébrant le fruit : l’accès au ciel (divam, svarga).
