Indra’s sovereignty and exclusive praise at the Soma-pressing
अभि प्र वः सुराधसमिन्द्रमर्च यथा विदे यो जरितृभ्यो मघवा पुरूवसुः सहस्रेणेव शिक्षति
abhi pra vaḥ surādhasamindramarca yathā vide yo jaritṛbhyo maghavā purūvasuḥ sahasreṇeva śikṣati
abhí prá vaḥ surā́dhasam índram arca yáthā vidé | yó jaritṛ́bhyo maghávā purūvásuḥ sahásreṇeva śíkṣati ||
Ainsi, chantez au grand jour la louange d’Indra, au don excellent, afin que nous obtenions dûment sa faveur ; car lui, Maghavān, riche de maints trésors, comble les chantres comme d’une abondance mille fois.
