अक्षोदयच्छवसा क्षाम बुध्नं वार्ण वातस्तविषीभिरिन्द्रः । दृळ्हान्यौभ्नादुशमान ओजोऽवाभिनत्ककुभः पर्वतानाम् ॥
ákṣodayac chávāsā kṣā́ma budhnáṁ vārṇá vātás távīṣībhir índraḥ | dṛḷhā́ny aubhnād uśámāna ójo 'ávābhinat kakúbhaḥ párvatānām ||
Indra, par sa force, mit en branle le fondement de la terre, comme le vent pousse par ses puissances; avide de vigueur, il brisa les appuis solides et abattit les cimes des montagnes qui barraient le passage.
