मणिरत्नमिदं दत्तं वैदेह्याश्श्वशुरेण मे।वधूकाले यथाबद्धमधिकं मूर्ध्नि शोभते।।।।

Transliteration

maṇi-ratnam idaṃ dattaṃ vaidehyāḥ śvaśureṇa me |

vadhū-kāle yathābaddham adhikaṃ mūrdhni śobhate ||

Translation

Ce joyau fut offert à Vaidehī par mon beau-père ; fixé et noué lors de nos noces, il brillait d’autant plus sur sa tête.
