Ayant entendu les paroles de Rāma en sa présence, les vanaras pressèrent Hanumān—pleinement instruit de tout le récit de Sītā—de parler et de le rapporter.
The monkeys in Rama's presence narrated all about Sita's detention in Ravana'sAshoka garden, the ogresses threatening her and the time limit fixed by Ravana (for her survival).
Dharma as right counsel and right speech: the community turns to the most competent, truthful witness to prevent confusion and guide righteous action.
Rama asks about Sita; the vanaras direct Hanuman to narrate since he personally saw her and knows the details.
Competence joined with integrity—Hanuman is chosen because he is both knowledgeable and reliable.
