त्वच्छोकविमुखो रामो देवि सत्येन ते शपे।रामे दुःखाभिपन्ने च लक्ष्मणः परितप्यते।।5.38.50।।
tvacchokavimukho rāmo devi satyena te śape | rāme duḥkhābhipanne ca lakṣmaṇaḥ paritapyate ||5.38.50||
Ô dame divine, je te le jure par la vérité : Rāma n’est pas indifférent à ta souffrance. Et lorsque Rāma est accablé de chagrin, Lakṣmaṇa aussi brûle de tourment et se lamente.
"O god-like lady! Rama is not averse to your misery. On my word this is true. Rama is immersed in sorrow. Even Lakshmana wails.
