Sita Tests the Messenger; Hanuman Offers Reassurance
आदित्य इव तेजस्वी लोककान्तश्शशी यथा।।।।राजा सर्वस्य लोकस्य देवो वैश्रवणो यथा।विक्रमेणोपपन्नश्च यथा विष्णुर्महायशाः।।।।
āditya iva tejasvī lokakāntaḥ śaśī yathā ।
rājā sarvasya lokasya devo vaiśravaṇo yathā ।
vikrameṇopapannaś ca yathā viṣṇur mahāyaśāḥ ॥
« Rāma est resplendissant comme le Soleil ; il charme le monde comme la Lune. Il est roi de tous les mondes comme le seigneur Vaiśravaṇa, et—d’une grande renommée—il est pourvu de vaillance comme Viṣṇu. »
