निमित्तप्रादुर्भावः
Auspicious Omens Arise for Sita
एतैर्निमित्तैरपरैश्च सुभ्रूः सम्बोधिता प्रागपि साधु सिद्धैः।वातातपक्लान्तमिव प्रणष्टं वर्षेण बीजं प्रतिसंजहर्ष।।5.29.6।।
etair nimittair aparaiś ca subhrūḥ sambodhitā prāg api sādhu siddhaiḥ |
vātātapaklāntam iva praṇaṣṭaṃ varṣeṇa bījaṃ pratisaṃjaharṣa ||5.29.6||
Ranimée par ces signes et d’autres encore, de bon augure—tenus depuis longtemps pour favorables par des sages accomplis—Sītā aux beaux sourcils sentit la joie revenir, telle une semence desséchée par le vent et le soleil qui renaît quand tombe la pluie.
Reassured by such omens which augured well as tested by time, Sita, with beautiful eye-brows, and deep foresight experienced great joy, like a seed blighted by the wind and the Sun comes back to joyful life through a pleasing shower. (A foreteller is addressed as siddha in sanskrit dramas)
