Trijata’s Dream-Omens and the Rakshasis’ Reversal
एवं तत्र मया दृष्टः कुम्भकर्णो निशाचरः।।5.27.29।।रावणस्य सुतास्सर्वे दृष्टास्तैलसमुक्षिताः।
evaṁ tatra mayā dṛṣṭaḥ kumbhakarṇo niśācaraḥ ||5.27.29||
rāvaṇasya sutāḥ sarve dṛṣṭās tailasamukṣitāḥ |
De la même manière, j’y vis Kumbhakarṇa, le rôdeur nocturne; et je vis aussi tous les fils de Rāvaṇa, le corps enduit d’huile.
"There I saw the night-ranger, Kumbhakarna and also Ravana's sons, their bodies smeared with oil.
