Ce puissant, le meilleur des Vānara, égal à Indra en vaillance, parcourut le mont Mahendra, haut dressé avec ses vastes pics élancés.
The rocks of the mountain got scattered by the force. The deer and elephants were terrified. The trees were shaken up violently and streams of water gushed forth.
Dharma appears as steadfast commitment to a rightful mission: Hanumān’s strength is framed as an instrument for the search for Sītā, not self-glorification.
Hanumān moves upon Mount Mahendra, the launch-point from which he will cross the ocean toward Laṅkā.
Heroic capability aligned with duty—prowess that serves a moral purpose.
