न ह्यकृत्वा हरिपतेस्सन्देशं तस्य धीमतः।तत्रापि गत्वा प्राणानां पश्यामि परिरक्षणम्।।।।
na hy akṛtvā haripateḥ sandeśaṃ tasya dhīmataḥ |
tatrāpi gatvā prāṇānāṃ paśyāmi parirakṣaṇam ||

'The monkey king has the authority to shower grace or give vent to his anger. If we go without fulfilling the task we will face destruction.
Duty to a legitimate command: life and honor are subordinated to completing the righteous assignment given by the rightful leader.
