Sampati’s Intelligence Report on Sita’s Abduction
स यातस्तेजसा व्योम सङ्क्षिपन्निव वेगतः।अथाऽहं खेचरैर्भूतैरभिगम्य सभाजितः।।।।
sa yātas tejasā vyoma saṅkṣipann iva vegataḥ | athāhaṁ khecarair bhūtair abhigamya sabhājitaḥ ||
Il fendit le ciel avec une telle splendeur et une telle vitesse que l’espace semblait se resserrer devant lui ; alors des êtres ailés, habitants des airs, vinrent à moi et me saluèrent avec honneur.
'He flew hurriedly with splendour as though he was enveloping the sky (making it small). All the flying creatures in the sky came and greeted me with respect.
