ऋक्षबिलप्रवेशः
Entry into the Rikshabilam Cave
निशाम्य तस्मात् शिंहांश्च तांस्तांश्च मृगपक्ष्णिः।।।।प्रविष्टा हरिशार्दूला बिलं तिमिरसंवृतम्।
niśāmya tasmāt siṃhāṃś ca tāṃs tāṃś ca mṛgapakṣiṇaḥ |
praviṣṭā hariśārdūlā bilaṃ timirasaṃvṛtam ||
Entendant du dedans les rugissements des lions et les cris de maintes bêtes et oiseaux, ces singes pareils aux tigres pénétrèrent dans la caverne, voilée de ténèbres.
On hearing him, the monkeys entered the cave full of darkness. There was no light of the Moon or the Sun. It was a horripilating experience.
