तस्यास्य वसतोऽरण्ये नियतस्य महात्मनः।रावणेन हृता भार्या स त्वां शरणमागतः4.5.4।।
tasyāsya vasato 'raṇye niyatasya mahātmanaḥ |
rāvaṇena hṛtā bhāryā sa tvāṃ śaraṇam āgataḥ || 4.5.4 ||
Tandis que ce grand être demeurait dans la forêt, maître de lui-même, Rāvaṇa enleva son épouse ; c’est pourquoi il est venu à toi, en quête de refuge.
