ते गृहीत्वौषधीस्सर्वाः फलमूलं च वानराः।तं प्रतिग्राहयामासुर्वचनं चेदमब्रुवन्।।।।
te gṛhītvauṣadhīs sarvāḥ phalamūlaṃ ca vānarāḥ |
taṃ pratigrāhayāmāsur vacanaṃ cedam abruvan ||
Ayant recueilli toutes les herbes médicinales, ainsi que des fruits et des racines, les vānara les lui offrirent et prononcèrent ces paroles.
Offering all kinds of medicinal herbs, fruits and roots collected, to Sugriva the monkeys said:
Dharma is seva (service) expressed through rightful offerings: resources are collected and respectfully presented to the leader for the shared mission.
The monkeys return with gathered provisions and medicines and formally offer them to Sugriva before reporting.
Generosity and dutifulness—bringing useful items, not merely words.
