क्षीरोदवेलानिलयास्तमालवनवासिनः।नारिकेलाशनाश्चैव तेषां सङ्ख्या न विद्यते।।।।

Transliteration

kṣīrodavelānilayās tamālavana-vāsinaḥ |

nārikelāśanāś caiva teṣāṃ saṅkhyā na vidyate ||

Translation

Ceux qui demeuraient sur les rivages de l’Océan de Lait, vivant dans les forêts de tamāla et se nourrissant de noix de coco : leur nombre était inconnu.
