शरत्प्रवेशे रामविलापः तथा सुग्रीवप्रमादे लक्ष्मणप्रेषणम्
Autumn’s Onset: Rama’s Lament and Lakshmana Sent to Sugriva
मनोज्ञगन्धैः प्रियकैरनल्पैःपुष्पातिभारावनताग्रशाखैः।सुवर्णगौरैर्नयनाभिरामैरुद्योतितानीव वनान्तराणि।।
manojña-gandhaiḥ priyakair analpaiḥ
puṣpāti-bhārāvanatāgra-śākhaiḥ |
suvarṇa-gaurair nayanābhirāmair
udyotitānīva vanāntarāṇi ||
Les étendues de la forêt semblent comme illuminées : par d’innombrables priyaka au parfum suave et généreux, dont les extrémités des branches ploient sous le lourd fardeau des fleurs, d’un éclat doré et charmants pour les yeux.
'The forests are delightful to the eyes, as if illuminated by a large number of golden-coloured, fine-smelling priyaka branches bent under the heavy loads of flowers.
