Tārā’s Lament over Vāli
As the arrrow(drenched in blood) was being pulled out, its glow looked like the Sun's rays obstructed by the peak of the western mountain.
Dharma appears as dutiful service to one’s fallen leader: even in chaos, companions act with resolve to do what must be done.
After Vāli falls, the vānara Nīla removes the embedded arrow from Vāli’s body with great effort.
Courage and steadiness—Nīla performs a grim, difficult act without wavering.
