Tara’s Lament over Vāli

'O my heroic husband, you are the legitimate, righteous king of Kiskinda. You have evidently built another beautiful city Kiskinda on your way to heaven.
It invokes the dharmic idea of gati (destiny after death) shaped by conduct; Tārā frames Vāli’s departure as a righteous transition, even while grieving.
Tārā speaks as though Vāli has gone ahead to a heavenly realm, imagining a new Kiṣkindhā-like city there.
Reverence toward dharma and a consoling interpretation of death, even amid sorrow.
