द्वितीयः सर्गः (Sarga 2): Sugriva’s Alarm and Hanuman’s Commission
तथेति सम्पूज्य वचस्तु तस्यतत्कपेस्सुभीमस्य दुरासदस्य च।महानुभावो हनुमान्ययौ तदास यत्र रामोऽतिबलश्च लक्ष्मणः।।
tatheti sampūjya vacas tu tasya tat kapeḥ subhīmasya durāsadasya ca | mahānubhāvo hanumān yayau tadāsa yatra rāmo 'tibalaś ca lakṣmaṇaḥ ||
Disant : « Qu’il en soit ainsi », Hanumān rendit hommage avec respect aux paroles de ce seigneur des singes, redoutable et inabordable, puis il se rendit là où se trouvaient Rāma et le très puissant Lakṣmaṇa.
On seeing these supreme bowmen, Sugriva's counsellers left for the peak of another mountain.
