तां पालयति धर्मात्मा भरतस्सत्यवागृजुः।धर्मकामार्थतत्त्वज्ञो निग्रहानुग्रहे रतः।।

Transliteration

tāṃ pālayati dharmātmā bharataḥ satyavāg ṛjuḥ | dharmakāmārthatattvajño nigrahānugrahe rataḥ ||

Translation

Cette terre est gouvernée par Bharata—juste de nature, véridique en parole, droit—connaissant les principes du dharma, du kāma et de l’artha, et appliqué tant au châtiment qu’à la grâce, selon la justice.
