Rama’s Justification to Vali on Rājadharma
त्वया ह्यनुगृहीतेन राज्यं शक्यमुपासितुम्।।त्वद्वशे वर्तमानेन तव चित्तानुवर्तिना।शक्यं दिवं चार्जयितुं वसुधां चापि शासितुम्।।
tvayā hy anugṛhītena rājyaṃ śakyam upāsitum || tvadvaśe vartamānena tava cittānuvartinā | śakyaṃ divaṃ cārjayituṃ vasudhāṃ cāpi śāsitum ||
Pour celui qui a obtenu ta faveur, il est possible de maintenir et d’administrer un royaume. Oui, celui qui demeure sous ta direction et suit l’élan de ton cœur peut acquérir le ciel et aussi gouverner la terre.
