Rama’s Justification to Vali on Rājadharma
'O Vali! we have to follow Bharata's command and are bent upon punishing those wicked people who deviate from the bounds of dharma.
Maryādā (ethical boundaries) must be protected; dharmic leadership involves restraining those who breach communal and familial norms.
Rama positions Vali’s punishment as consistent with established royal command and the need to uphold maryādā.
Steadfastness in duty: Rama emphasizes resolve to uphold dharma over personal hesitation.
