Transliteration

ikṣvākūṇāṃ kule jātaḥ siṃha-skandho mahā-dyutiḥ |

lakṣmaṇena saha bhrātrā yas te prāṇān hariṣyati ||

Translation

Né dans la lignée des Ikṣvāku, éclatant de splendeur et aux épaules de lion, celui qui t’ôtera la vie viendra, accompagné de son frère Lakṣmaṇa.
