मारीचप्रलोभनम् / Ravana Solicits Maricha’s Aid
Golden Deer Stratagem
तेन सञ्जातरोषेण रामेण रणमूर्धनि।अनुक्त्वा परुषं किञ्चिच्छरैर्व्यापारितं धनुः।।।।
tena sañjātarōṣeṇa rāmeṇa raṇamūrdhani | anuktvā paruṣaṃ kiñcit śarair vyāpāritaṃ dhanuḥ ||
Alors Rāma, la colère éveillée, au plus fort de la mêlée, sans proférer la moindre parole dure, fit agir son arc par une pluie de flèches.
