Entering Dandaka and Meeting the Sages

Là, ces sages bienheureux, voués au bien de tous les êtres, installèrent Rāghava dans leur hutte de feuilles, l’honorant comme un hôte sacré.
Ever engaged in the welfare of all beings, the sages made Rama, their guest, sit in their leafy hut.
Atithi-dharma (duty to a guest) joined with universal compassion (sarvabhūta-hita): the sages actively provide shelter and respectful seating to the visitor.
After approaching, the sages formally host Rāma by seating him in their hermitage dwelling.
The sages’ benevolence and social righteousness—hospitality offered without selfish motive, grounded in concern for all beings.
