FAQs

Gaṇādhipa means “Lord of the Gaṇas,” commonly identified as Gaṇeśa. His satisfaction and boon function as a decisive divine sanction that shifts the balance in the Deva–Asura conflict.

It presents the Devas’ victory as dependent on divine favor and granted power (vara), implying that cosmic order is restored through sanctioned boons rather than mere force.

The verse highlights reliance on righteous alignment and divine approval: when a higher power is pleased (tuṣṭa), outcomes turn favorable, and harmony (represented by the Devas’ joy) follows.
