Yoga-Sleep, Cosmic Dissolution, and the Lotus of Creation

with Mārkaṇḍeya’s Vision

तस्य तावच्छती संध्या द्विगुणा कुरुनंदन । यत्र धर्मश्चतुष्पादस्त्वधर्मः पादविग्रहः

tasya tāvacchatī saṃdhyā dviguṇā kurunaṃdana | yatra dharmaścatuṣpādastvadharmaḥ pādavigrahaḥ

Ô descendant des Kuru, la période crépusculaire (saṃdhyā) de cet âge dure tant de centaines, et sa durée est doublée : en cet âge, le Dharma se tient ferme sur ses quatre pieds, tandis que l’Adharma n’est plus qu’une infime fraction d’un pied.
