स्नानाचमनकैरेव व्यवहारेण वर्तते । शौचमेवं समाख्यातमहिंसां तु वदाम्यहम्

snānācamanakaireva vyavahāreṇa vartate | śaucamevaṃ samākhyātamahiṃsāṃ tu vadāmyaham

Par le bain, l’ācamana (gorgée d’eau rituelle) et une conduite juste dans les affaires quotidiennes, on demeure dans la pureté. Ainsi la pureté est expliquée ; maintenant je parlerai de la non-violence (ahiṁsā).
